SMS Messaging Consent
Home Services Marketplace may send SMS messages to contractors (business owners) for lead alerts and account-related notifications.
Important
This SMS consent applies to contractor notifications only. Home Services Marketplace does not send SMS messages to customers.
Contractors / Business Owners
Contractors can opt in to receive SMS alerts (for example, new lead notifications and account notifications). SMS opt-in is optional and is not enabled by default.
How contractors opt in (verifiable steps)
- Log in to the contractor dashboard at https://homeservices-us.com/dashboard.
- Go to Contact & SMS Alerts.
- Check the SMS consent checkbox (unchecked by default) with the following disclosure text:“I agree to receive SMS notifications from Home Services Marketplace about new lead alerts and account updates. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”
- Click Save / Enable SMS Alerts to confirm your opt-in preference.
- To opt out at any time, reply STOP. For help, reply HELP.
